The boat and crew are yours for 5 days. If you return to Homer early, you may fill the remaining days fishing Halibut, Salmon or Rockfish and pay only the fuel.

FUEL:

Our fuel overhead is huge! (30-50% of our fee depending on destination) which creates an economic and professional dilemma. We can operate on a “fixed-fuel” budget as most charters do and boast “never a surcharge” and publish a lower fee. Or, we can continue to offer the quality of trip everyone hopes to experience, and deal with fuel cost fluctuations if necessary.
We plan to continue our top-level service and hope you will understand and appreciate our policy. In order to assure fishing success, we cannot be constrained by a fuel allowance. We will locate fish and you will catch fish even if it requires us to fish more than one area. However, depending on the fuel market, it may become necessary to amend our published fee with a dreaded “surcharge”. Our fuel adjustment would be $3.00 additional for each 10 cent increase in the cost of diesel fuel above $4.50 per gallon. Without fuel-cost restraints, our days are so much more rewarding and our guests leave the boat appreciative and with fillets of equal or greater value than the cost of their trip.

Cancellation/Refunds

BBALL.jpg (843 bytes) Full refund of all fees/deposits is offered if the weather is unsuited for safe departure or if the boat is mechanically disabled. (In case of the latter, we will make every effort to place you with a capable charter).

BBALL.jpg (843 bytes) If you scheduled and paid for, or placed a deposit for an option other than halibut or salmon and weather prohibits our access to the more distant way points, but we are able to fish somewhere, you will be offered the appropriate refund.

BBALL.jpg (843 bytes) A refund of your fee is offered if notice of cancellation is received at least 30 full days prior to your scheduled charter-less 15% of the total charter fee.

BBALL.jpg (843 bytes) If you must cancel with less than 30 days notice, AND we are able to fill your space(s), we will happily refund your fee – less 15% of the total charter fee. If we are not able to fill your charter space(s), you will be charged the total charter fee.

BBALL.jpg (843 bytes) Failure to show at designated departure time or last minute cancellations will result in FULL CHARGE.
